When you started your career in the corporate world, definitely a lot of people were going to ask you this question? Why freelancing? Can you still sustain your lifestyle when you work as a freelancer? Is it worth it? Does it give you stability in your income?
What are the challenges in freelancing?
One of the main challenges I've experienced in freelancing is looking for the clients. Unlike my previous jobs, in freelancing I have to be active and exhaust all my resources and update my social media profiles for me to be able to find a client. Not only that, I have to learn new skills and level up my existing ones so that I'll be ready for the client's demand when they contact and hire me as a freelancer. So what tips can I give for someone like me who's just new in this job?
Here’s how to do it:
Understand your target market.
Identify your niche
Learn the right skills
Build an attractive portfolio
Grow your online presence in freelancing
Frequent job boards and visit freelance website
Ask for referrals.
Be proactive
Why should I get your freelancing service?
Nowadays due to pandemic situations a lot of people prefer to work at home. This resulted in an increasing number of freelancers applying and getting clients anywhere. The question is how I stand out among them? Quality Service and Right Attitude. These two are my benchmarks on providing virtual assistance services to my clients. Once you learn the in and out in freelancing, the more you'll enjoy working and staying at home.
